Adobe Photoshop is one of the most popular, industry standard tools for professional digital painting. I has a vast array of powerfully dynamic tools, an easy-to-learn interface, and almost limitless time-saving shortcuts to make any job manageable and cleanly executable. Photoshop comes in a basic and extended version. The basic version is usually sufficient for most professional painting tasks, while the extended version has special tools for Film, 3D animation, Architecture, Science and Medical professionals.
