Faculty Grant Winners Bring Tech-Enhanced Hybrid Courses Online

August 15th, 2012

The results for the “Fall 2012 Challenge for Newly Hybrid Technology-Enhanced Courses” are in. From almost 50 faculty members who responded to the call for proposals, ten professors have been chosen to receive $10,000 grants to convert nine fall courses to a “hybrid” model. The professors chosen represent eight of the University’s eleven schools, and their courses will reach more than 1,000 undergraduates and about 60 law students.  In addition, several small-grant proposals were submitted for second-chance funding. From this pool, five projects were selected to receive up to $1,000. These courses will reach about 1,800 undergraduates and 40 law students.
